About us

Box-it North opened in August 2004 from its location just north of Ponteland in Northumberland with the facility being ideally placed for access to all major roads. Box-it North's service meets required ISO 9001:2008 Quality Standards (annually assessed by independent auditors) and the latest Environmental Quality Standard ISO 14001:2004.

We have enjoyed rapid growth since our inception and now boast two secure warehouse facilities already storing many thousands of boxes with the capability to store in the region of 144 million documents.

Box-it North provides a Data Management, Storage and Document Destruction Service and Guarantees a 24 hour delivery of ordered archives. Same day deliveries can be made if required.

Clients come from all sectors of the business community to include Solicitors, Health Authorities, Accountants, Manufacturing and also a number of private individuals.

Whilst many customers use Fax, an increasing number of our clients use Real Time Web access service allowing them to control, manage, view and order archives stored at our facility.

When archive boxes arrive at our facility they are strapped with nylon strapping for added security and by using Bar-Code Technology we ensure archives are stored and located with ease, which also allows us to provide clients a full audit trail for each and every archive if requested.

Not only does Box-it North provide an archive box retrieval service but for a number of companies we also provide a file retrieval service thereby saving on space at their premises for the storage of returned archives.

Box-it North covers from Berwick-upon-Tweed in the north to Redcar in the south and westward to Cumbria, all the towns and cities in the DL, NE, DH, SR, TS, CA post code areas, which includes the major towns and cities of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Sunderland, Durham, Middlesbrough, Stockton, Darlington & Carlisle.
