It’s the BBC Children in Need Appeal Show today (18 November) and Box-it will be going all out to show our support and help make a difference to children’s lives throughout the UK. While we’ll still be ‘doing our normal thing’ aka ‘document management’, our enthusiastic Box-it staff will be doing a number of other ‘less normal things’ in the name of charity.
Regional offices of Box-it throughout England, Wales, Scotland, Isle of Man and Ireland have pledged to take part in all sorts of activities to raise funds for this worthy charity, from sponsored cycling and planking challenges, to baking cakes and dressing up in Pudsey and Superhero attire.
So if you happen to see a Box-it driver sporting Pudsey ears, please don’t be surprised – it’s not the latest uniform. After all, just like the BBC Children in Need charity, we have our own famous bear, the notorious Box-it bear. While Box-it bear hasn’t quite reached the dizzy heights of Pudsey bear fame, he is becoming quite a Twitter sensation in the world of document management. Yes, we promise there will be photos!
Please show your support for BBC Children in Need. The charity is currently supporting 2400 projects across the UK, helping disadvantaged children and young people. We will be announcing the total sum raised by Box-it in due course.
