Information Superheroes is the theme for this year’s IRMS Conference and Box-it has once again ‘flown’ in as the Sunday Sponsor of this annual event for the records management industry, which takes place from 15-17 May 2016 at the Brighton Hilton Metropole.
As in previous years, Box-it will be sponsoring Sunday evening’s social event, which is always a fun, yet productive networking occasion. While we can’t promise that our Managing Director, Simon Ellis, will be donning a ‘superhero’ cape, we can assure delegates that he, along with our guest speaker Dr George Harpur – the co-founder of document automation company, Focal Point Software – will be speaking on a very interesting topic at the conference, in one of the seminar sessions.
The theme of our seminar at this year’s IRMS conference will be focused on automated classification, and how technology has advanced over the years enabling rapid and cost-effective deployment, supporting business excellence. George Harpur has some 19 years’ experience in the document processing industry, having helped found the ICR and data capture specialist Neurascript in 1997. He then became Director of Development at Kofax following its acquisition of Neurascript in 2005. George has a PhD. in pattern recognition and machine learning from the University of Cambridge.
During the seminar, Simon Ellis and George Harpur will explain how the latest technology removes the need for costly and time-consuming template building, and how processes can be ‘taught about document content’ with high levels of accuracy and output efficiencies.
Of course, we will also be promoting our full range of document management solutions from our Box-it stand located in the exhibition area. The Box-it exhibition stand promises to be action-packed thanks to our live demo area, where we will have an OPEX scan station in operation to showcase the efficiency of the document scanning process.
Linking to the theme of our seminar session, we will be delighted to tell you more about our super-intelligent, super-fast and super-accurate automated data capture and classification technology, which when combined with our Omnidox solutions for electronic document/business process management, really can help to give your documents superpowers!
